Measuring Instructions

Step 1: Decide on Fitting Style

Choose whether you want the blinds to fit inside the window recess (inside mount) or outside the window recess (outside mount).

Step 2: Gather Tools

You will need a metal tape measure, a notepad, and a pen.

Step 3: Measuring Inside the Window Recess (Inside Mount)

  1. Measure the width of the window recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Write down the measurements in millimeters (mm) and use the smallest width.
  2. Measure the height of the window recess on the left, middle, and right. Write down the measurements in millimeters (mm) and use the smallest height.

Step 4: Measuring Outside the Window Recess (Outside Mount)

  1. Measure the exact width you want the blinds to cover, including any extra overlap. Measure at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the largest width.
  2. Measure the exact height you want the blinds to cover, including any extra overlap. Measure at the left, middle, and right, and use the largest height.

Fast Fitting Instructions

Step 1: Unpack Your Blinds

Open the package and lay out all parts. The package will include full pictures with diagrams for reference.

Step 2: Gather Tools

You will need a drill, screws, a screwdriver, a tape measure, a pencil, and a ladder or step stool if necessary.

Step 3: Position the Brackets

  1. For inside mount: Hold the brackets inside the window recess at the top corners. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.
  2. For outside mount: Hold the brackets outside the window frame at the desired height and width. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.

Step 4: Drill Pilot Holes

Drill small pilot holes where you marked the screw holes to make it easier to insert the screws.

Step 5: Attach the Brackets

Use screws to attach the brackets to the window recess (inside mount) or wall (outside mount).

Step 6: Install the Blind

Snap the headrail of the blind into the brackets. Make sure it clicks into place securely.

Step 7: Attach the Valance (if included)

If your blinds come with a valance, attach it according to the included diagrams.

Step 8: Test the Blinds

Lower and raise the blinds to ensure they are functioning smoothly.
